Now that the plot's done
Thanks to everyone who participated in Masque, directly or indirectly. I very much appreciate everyone working around their busy schedules to take the trouble of logging and getting them to me on time, barring the unavoidable RL interference; being a relative newbie I was a little uncertain about running my first plot, but you guys made it so much easier than I was afraid it was going to be. Thank you for helping me carry off what was really a rather hideous concept without a hitch, and really nice logs -- and reactions -- from all of you. This was a lot of fun.
Even if that NPC did make me feel like I need to scrub my brain with drano. *G*

I think my favorite log in this plot was the one with Haller and the formerly blind insect man.
As for the NPC, what happens to him, now that they don't need him to feed Marius powers anymore? Or was that explained somewhere and I missed it?

Thank Cain and Forge's player for Simon. And for not naming him Gregor.
What happened to Masque wasn't explicitly stated, partly because I wasn't sure how to work that in gracefully either in the course of my own logs or journal posts, but assume he's being taken to a secure facility to await his court-date for charges on the current assaults as well as the incidents Forge found from when he was a juevenile. (This will probably be reinforced in-game later at some point; among other less overt ways, there's a possibility he'll make a very brief reappearance later on.)

I already did the feedback thing, but adding my voice to the accolades, especially for the posts since. It's been great watching Marius, especially. He's really shown a lot of range whilst still remaining essentially Marius. :)

Thank you for the feedback, too. *G* I was keeping quiet until the plot had actually wrapped, but it was much appreciated. I'm glad you've enjoyed the Marius-involvement; shallow characters are challenging, but I figure writing them is just like dragging your hand through the ripples on the surface while bearing in mind you're sailing over a coral reef. Just because there's no introspection doesn't mean the depth isn't there. . . . Regardless of what the character himself believes.
