It's finally dead
With Jennie and Marius' little implosion Bleeding is formally over, and considering it's been happening since July I should probably say something about it. Fortunately it'll be somewhat less than the pages and page I could go on about it if I weren't braindead. *G*
In brief: thanks to Red, Alan and Rossi for socking; to Erin, Avital, Kate, Persephone and Jen for subjecting their PCs to the trauma of the recovery; to the SV people who got pulled into some complex involvement rather unexpectedly and did great bearing with us while we scrambled; and to everyone who did reactions even when they weren't asked or expected. And, even though she was partly responsible for this debacle, thanks to Azzy for plot- and log-wrangling on top of completely screwing over Jennie for two months and counting, which was a huge sacrifice she made for the good of plot and drama. Of course.
This was a tough, tough plot that turned out to have some major and unexpected ramifications for more than just my PC, but I'm extremely pleased by the result. It may not seem like it now, but when all's said and done Marius has actually been done an enormous service, and I thank everyone who helped. And hope I'm not murdered when I don't bring a sledgehammer to the ensuing angst for another month. *cough*
So yes. In short, the plot's done, and for this brief moment in time I am violently in love with everyone who helped it get there. That's all I wanted to say.
And if I've forgotten anyone in these thanks I'm going to curl up in a corner and die of embarrassment.

And yes, that camping trip fluff was great, both to read and to write, after the dire angst of Bleeding. Full credit for that one goes to Forge and Cain's player for pointing out we desperately needed the tension-breaker . . . although to be honest we're still working on how it became the Camping Trip of Sexual Ambiguity.
