Search and Rescue - thank yous!
Jul. 21st, 2006 01:22 pmFirstly may I just say "... whew." It's done, hallelujah.
I have stopped asking myself just how, precisely, I managed to pull off a plot that involved thirteen players less than two weeks after the Rictor Effect, and just concluded that the answer is simple. Twelve of those thirteen people kick ass. They took the plot and ran with it when I was being the polar opposite of my usual organized self, and I adore all of them, for doing that and for coming up with such amazing stuff. Thank you, guys. Especially to those of you who looked at the idea of writing your-characters-but-not-quite for the hallucination scenes and were all kinds of crazy inspired. I do so love it when throwaway ideas lead to people having such fun.
Special thanks to Nute and Alan for answering the socking call. Especially Nute, who did a fiendishly wonderful Lyman. Extra special thanks to Erin, who took pity on me when I was procrastinating about the rescue scene - because wow, what a rescue scene that turned out to be.
So now I've broken one of my characters into itty-bitty pieces, I think I'll go to Disneyworld! Or maybe just out for the afternoon.
