Just a quick note on current(ish) things

(Seriously, though, my admiration for Manuel's player knows no bounds. One of the strongest characters in the game.)

Also, kudos to whoever played the driven awesomeness that is Sabra. Very cool, as played by you, and a great job.

I like Kylun. I really like Kylun. I've never read any comic with him in it, so I have only your version to go by. And he is deeply cool, and he rocks, and he should be in lots more logs. :D

Also, thank you to everyone for posting your 2015 fic in this community. I wasn't around when most of it was posted, but I've been back-reading and I really enjoy it, even though I haven't commented on a lot of it. Thank you for posting these where the fan community could read them.

Besides, Doug's too nice to do that, and -way- too firmly in the "Freedom of Speech." camp.

He wouldn't, though. Not that he isn't constantly amazed at how efficient Manuel is at putting his foot in his mouth, but he's not going to do something that mean-spirited.

I know. Maybe an extremely-AU Doug, but never your Doug. But it's amusing to think about!

*is too lazy to sign into Sunfire's account and use the Sabra icon* Thank you :) I'd considered her as my second character way back when, so this was my excuse to see what she'd be like ;)

You're welcome.:) She'd probably have been very cool to have in the game (wouldn't mind seeing her again, actually) but I like Jay and flat-out adore Shiro, and wouldn't trade either of them for anything, so I'm kind of glad you didn't go with her. ;)

I didn't like Kylun at all from the few appearances I've seen in Marvel comics and I only learned to like the character in x_project. Same goes true for Dazzler, btw.

But in canon Dazzler in the Australia years was pretty cool.

*grins* And this would be why I don't tend to write superheroes so much. ;)

*nodsnodsnods* Sometimes the surreal consequences are fun; others... it gets hard to identify with characters with no human experiences.

Oh, definitely. I think that's why my 2015 fic for Amanda turned out the way it did... Something very mundane and ordinary.

I think that may be why yours was my favorite of those fics, too. (Pete's was a favorite, as well.) I love the quiet moments best of all; my need for this kind of characterization was what started me reading fanfiction, way back when. It was the 'down-time' X-Men issues that kept me coming back, etc.
