With the exception of dance and gymnastics, Kitty's schedule looks just like mine. Yay for science! Boo for liberal arts!

Mine (When I take classes - taking some time off for financial reasons. That being) tends to be similar. Science, Science, Math, Math, CompSci, CompSci, CompSci.

Of course, this is likely because I'm a Compsci major with a Math minor. I am so nerdy.

(That being said - Marie-Ange is in a major snit right now over Shiro being in her art class - I'd say we should have a big paper-mache fight, but... Shiro has scary fire powers.)

Free Time is a myth invented by people who want computer geeks to think they're missing out on something. :)

Evening classes - I have to juggle finishing the damn degree and a job.

That and .. well, most of my homework (and real job-type work) is spent on a PC, so I've got more than ample time to be online browsing Livejournal so long as I don't pooch a deadline or something.

There's a couple of folks who were in my Statistics class who took Organic Chem as an -elective-. These are not sane, healthy minded people.

College Park seems to have more than its fair share of people who take the most challenging courses, just so they can say they did.

My levels of dislike for Organic Chem were only outmatched by my dislike for Biochem the following two semesters. Esters, aromatics and the chem breakdown of the Kreb cycle are already long forgotten.

... Is it sadder that I knew most of what you were talking about, or that the reason I know most of that is due to various role-playing games and fanfics?

Not as many as some of the other universities in Maryland. *shudder* Towson State ... seems to have far more than its fair share of dim bimbos only at college to get a degree in Finding a Husband.

*hugs* other science majors!

No, of course Kitty doesn't get all of her frightening physics knowledge from me, why do you ask? *grin*

I am occaionally kicking myself for taking such a liberal-arts minded character.

Only occasionally, as I get to play Creepy Precog Girl in the upcoming year.

Which is going to be very cool.

American Indian His
Japanese Art His
Ancient Religions
Sexual Performance

Maureen's real schedule

[identity profile] x-blink.livejournal.com 2004-01-16 04:54 pm (UTC)(link)
my classes this semester go something like:
sociological research
sociology of social class & stratification
history of sociol thought
sociology of something else
human origins

no...I'm not a sociology major...not at all...

Hey

I think Remy should be allowed to teach classes. Like, really really liberal arts. "Hold de lockpick like an egg, chere."

Pete's already offered to teach us how to hot wire a car... I'd say, make the offer. Somebody will undoubtedly take you up on it.

Kitty, of course, wants it known that she has no need to learn how to lock pick.

hey, that could be a useful skill!

[identity profile] resplendissante.livejournal.com 2004-01-16 11:55 pm (UTC)(link)
I was thinking EXACTLY the opposite thing. XDDD Then again, I'm the crazy person double majoring in a social science and a pseudoreal science, which screws with my schedule something fierce. ;)

(am awed at all the sciencey people in the game. Organic Chemistry is a long-forgotten eleventh-grade magical mystery to me. ;)

History, Literature and more history.

Reformation Era, Medieval Civilization, Chaucer and his Contemporaries, Medieval and Renaissance Thought, and Poetry.

*is done with all of her science requirements, good riddance*
