Mnemovore: Feedback Thread

Whew! So there's my first XP plot.

First off, enormous kudos to Alicia and Cora. They did a lot of the heavy-lifting log-wise and helped me quite a bit with pointers and advice. Bonus hugs to Alicia for warding off my mini-meltdowns.

Tap, Bounce and Ben - each of you rocked my socks during the fight scene, both in the writing and bouncing ideas around behind the scenes. Your characters' reactions were fab and I had an absolute blast. Thanks so much for agreeing to take part, guys.

Also, thanks to Kate and to those of you who pounced on the casting call for victims. Sorry that I couldn't use everyone, but fitting all the XP cast who were volunteered into that scene would have been about three pages of nightmare posts. Seriously, I'm very flattered by how eager you all were to have me abuse your characters. ;)

Hope you guys had as much fun reading as we did traumatizing our characters, and here's hoping the upcoming fallout is just as amusing for everyone.

Heh, it was fun. I tend to consider any log that gets me two separate "Good God, Tap, EW!" emails a win either way. :)

(And yeah, for those who were wondering, this and Rubicon were the two logs that inspired my LJ-post about writing redshirt NPCs earlier this week.)

Dude...i knew a lot of what was coming, and it was still intense and painful and amazing to read. And the 'capturing JP' scene was intense. Well done, everyone.
