Usually Gaia Online, as I have a metric fuckload of pixel gold accumulated and no real interest in the site itself these days. The downside to this is that a lot of Gaia artists tend to spot something sparkly and wander off and, since pixel gold doesn't pay the bills, they don't have a lot of incentive to pick up orders again quickly or at all. A lot of XP characters have been commissioned on Gaia (some multiple times), but the majority of the art just never materializes. Such is life.
The other source would be my friend Chelsea, who does get paid in real-world funds, but her time (and my funds) are limited, so if comes down to paying her to work on our webcomic or paying her to work on XP fanart, the comic usually wins. ;)
