x_projectYes, it's the love meme! Isa and I have been talking about posting it and finally talk has become action! Here's the drill: every player has a comment below for folks to leave love. It doesn't have to be words, gifs are also good. We're going backwards to distribute the love evenly (people get worn out by the end of the alphabet, so lets start with them this time!).
We've also included links to the player's wiki page and their character's logs, so you can take a refresh peek at what they've been doing. We'll also link to the individual threads from the player pages, so you can go back later and bask when you need it.
No negativity - if you can't say something positive, don't say anything at all, as the saying goes. ;)
If for any reason you'd rather not be included ping Isa or I and we'll quietly remove your thread. Or, if giving feedback publicly is a bit much, you can email the person directly (email addies are available on the player pages).
No time limits - do your best and no love is too small!

"What's your history with self-defense and fighting? I know you have a sword and can presumably use it, but, like, did you ever have these mental stops that I can't seem to shake myself of?"
Angelo grinned, a little ruefully. "Ah, my history with fighting is... long. Way back, before I ever came to Xavier's, I was in with a gang from pretty young. Then there was Asgard, where I got my sword, and a lot of stuff since. But the question was really about the mental stops, so yeah, I did. I think most people do, to one level or another."
At his statement, Alani blinked owlishly for a moment, moving her hands as she worked through her thoughts. "I... did not expect the little view into lil' Angelo, if I'm being completely honest. But also, no judgment. So, how did you get over yours? I'm trying, I really fucking am, man. But fuck, I'm a joke when it comes to this shit."
"You're not a joke", he said firmly. "You're just new to all this stuff and like I said, you're not doing so bad at all. I guess the main way was practice, over and over again 'til it came easy."
Kurt - while I've chosen the Mystique part for Kurt's Moment of Awesome, the scene with Lorelei is also so good:
“What son treats his mother so. Do you not feel sorrow, child? Does it not make you want to cry?”
He couldn’t move, frozen to the spot, and despite himself his eyes were welling up. It was an effort to force out the next words. “A son who was abandoned and ill-used by his mother when he found her. My mother is Margali Szardos.”
“You poor child, you have been deceived.”
Lorelei’s voice throbbed with sorrow, echoing the tears of a bereft mother as she looked on him with eyes that seemed to glow from within.
“Your mother, your true mother never abandoned you. This Margali is the deceiver, the witch who pulled you from your true purpose. Surely you can feel the truth in my words. Surely you feel the pain that your heart has harbored all these years, the pain of a stolen child.”
"I am not a child. And you are... deceiving..." The words trailed off into nothing as he looked at her.
“An adult then? Surely you would do me a small favour? As a man of such high gravitas, it is well within your abilities, I assure you.”
Lorelei’s voice changed harmonics, weaving between sultry whispers and deeper notes that tripped along the nerves into the monkey brain underneath the thinking man.
“You would make me the happiest of women, Kurt.”
Deep, deep down, below even the monkey brain, something was screaming at him to run. But her voice overruled it.
"What would you have me do?"
