Thanks! *happy dance* Of course I don't see him standing a chance against toad on his own, but maybe he will get to punch him anyway. Or even chew on him! That would be cool!
And yeahhhh, Kyle's 2006? Not going to be so great. There's more upcoming for his fuzzy butt.
But, um. It'll make me happy? Except that these little hints you're dropping are just mean. Now I'm anticipating all the good stuff to come. *user sighs* Now I have to go read Loose Ends again.
Well, thank you. :) And Lense was a joint effort - Forge's writer wrote Lense for the scene with Kyle and Forge, I wrote Lense for the scene with Kyle, and Haroun's writer wrote him for the death of the parking garage scene. *grins*
So, everyone who wrote Lense is intimidating. :) I did actually notice a difference in writing style, but I was putting that down to me being delusional, because the differences were so subtle. Pretend that didn't sound pretentious. ;)
And this where I have to mention how good the Mistra plot and characters are. That is a lot wonderful writing and an impressive plot. The characters are layered and developed and I am just awed at everything you've done. There'd be more gushing, but I get speechless with wow.
*grins* Actually, I was kind of wondering if anyone would notice the differences. They were there, even if the three of us managed to keep him consistent characterizatio-wise.
And oooh, thank you again. :) I've been enjoying drawing on it from time to time since the big wrap-up - it's fun.
I did notice, but they were very subtle differences, so I actually thought I was imagining them. Ha!
I love when you guys draw on that plot. The consequences of what Mistra has done will never go away. It adds realism, in how the X-Men can't shove everything behind them: nothing that large that hurt that many people can be left behind. It's something people carry with them every day. It makes sense that even Mistra's ghost is a problem. This kind of consistency is why you guys have fans. :)
I need to poke my beta to finish editing the latest part and then I will. ;) The first three parts really work as a unit so I wouldn't want to leave you hanging with the first two.
And I can fangirl everything I thought was incredibly nifty, but couldn't say above. Heh.
Using Kurt's teleportation as a weapon is a completely brilliant, innovative idea. That is one of the coolest things I've read.
Lense gestured (a bad habit that he still felt guilty for even after all this time)
This line was awesome (mostly because I love gesturing being a telekinetic crutch).
"I'm the only REAL Spartan! With your shield or on it, Nathan! We don't get to have lives! We're Spartans! Soldiers!" he screamed as he lashed into Nathan with his power. "I'm the last of our kind, you diseased sick fuck!"
I also loved this bit, but here I have no idea why: maybe because Lense summed his life up perfectly. Insightful bastard, wasn't he. ;)
These logs are still making me happy, obviously. ;)
Occasionally I get inspired. And the fun thing with Lense is that he's constantly thinking, coming up with new ways to make things really, really heavy.
;)
Like, say, atmospheric sulfur. Or pocket change.
I enjoy socking Lense far more than I probably should.

Date: 2006-01-29 05:20 am (UTC)And I agree about Loose Ends being amazing. I never expected to love Kyle as much as I do now. And considering I expected to adore him...
Also, Cable-writer is frighteningly good. And whoever wrote Lense. I love villains far too much.
(Kyle angst, whee! *coughs?*)
