Do you have any idea how long it's been since I've read or interacted with XP_Jubilee?

I'm pretty sure I'd butcher her speech patterns, and given the bollockings I've gotten over writing ethnicities that aren't anywhere near mine, I think I'll pass.

Nothing personal. I'm hanging onto this game by my fingernails anyway and I don't really want to let go quite yet.

Try doing some backreading of Jubilee logs? And honestly? Jubilee is about as ethnic as every other American student at the school - there's very little that's Chinese about her.

Her speech patterns, IIRC, are fairly Valley Girl.

*grins* It's just a meme, mate. It's perfectly fine to write something for a meme since it isn't actually canon. But like Jo says, Jubilee is very American, and very Valley girl in her speech patterns. Except for the fact that she's got Chinese relatives and looks Chinese, there's very little that's culturally Chinese about her.

I can understand that. Heck, if you're ever unsure of something cultural in a log, the best thing to do is actually ask people. We're not going to bite your head off for asking a question. :)

Every bit of glass in the room was in tiny pieces there were scorch marks on the walls and furniture and the two sitting flat in the middle of what used to be a very nice rug.

"...so, we never speak of this again?"

"Absolutely."

Logan and Jubilee

"They got big." Logan said, looking in on the two wrestling and laughing figures in the other room.

"That happens when you go away for ten years, Logan." Jubilee said, lightly putting her hand on his shoulder before obnoxiously popping a bubble in her bubblegum. "They're good kids."

Logan didn't bother responding, instead just looking at the two figures at play.

He wanted to call out to them, greet them, see how they were doing. But for the life of him, he couldn't remember their names.

Manuel hobbled out from behind the DJs booth, his head throbbing with aural overstimulation and too much caffeine and nicotine. His knee had decided to get into the act as well, pulsing hot waves of pain in time with his heartbeat. All he wanted was a dark room, a warm towel, to elevate his leg and to be left _alone_.

As usual, somewhere in the void of space and time the Fates laughed at his desires.

The grey skin was what had tipped him off - he very nearly didn't recognize the figure in the decent-looking suit. The same grey-skinned man in the decent-looking suit who was heading right for him.

Manuel, despite the cane, despite his nagging injuries that he'd been told would be with him in some form forever - managed to duck into the thinning crowds and avoid speaking to the man entirely.

Angelo was one part of the wreckage that was his past that he wasn't at all keen on exploring.
