"Normally I'd ask Logan for this," Pete said as he and Kyle headed for Emma's private jet. "But he's gone off on one of his walkabouts. And I need a tracker. Fast. The people who took my team, they aren't exactly known for their cheerful dispositions." He stopped at the foot of the steps, and looked Kyle in the eye. "One thing. You're the tracker. Once you find them, you hang back, let me take care of things."

Kyle bristled, pride stung. "I am an X-Man, you know."

"I know. And X-Men don't kill." Pete's expression didn't budge. "But I do."
