Honestly if that little civil disagreement yesterday was the first time they've clue into the fact that their teachers are people, they haven't been paying attention. I didn't break anything or start the yelling. That was Shiro.

But, aren't we at the school to learn how to use the powers and not hurt people? Miss Dane used her powers to have the fight - how is this not a big deal? If she was the student, she would be grounded.

Yes, this is true. And if she was a student, it is likely she would be reprimanded. However, I feel it is important to remember that we cannot be perfect all the time, and that under the circumstances I understand her reaction. Ms. Dane is my friend, and in personal matters, sometimes justice is overlooked for the sake of kindness.

Ms. Dane stopped before she did bodily harm. And I was under the impression that most people were upset about the yelling, which is what I was saying was 'not a big deal'.

There was more than just the yelling - there was the broken vase, which means there was the pushing, and the powers. If a teacher is wanting the student to respect them and do what they are wanting the students to do, they have to be the grownup. Miss Dane was like the child.

Mr. Logan was fired. Miss Dane does not have to be fired, but I will not have her as the teacher if I cannot be respecting her.

When the stress makes my skin and hair even sharper and more dangerous, outside is the safest place to be. Or maybe it is okay if I bump into the person by accident with my hair when I am upset and cut them to pieces?

Mayb it's time to stop running away every time there's a problem and actually sticking around to deal with it? You think you're the only one around here who can hurt people when they get upset?

And when have you ever "come to fetch me back out", Jennie? When have you ever tried to talk to me, to get to know me as the person, and not the guilt trip? Why should I listen to anything you are saying, when you make it very clear that you do not want to say anything to me? It is, how you say, telephone call for the pot, to be telling me not to run away and to deal with the problems.

I am not the only one who can hurt people when they are upset, no. But I do not put people in danger when I am, and I do not ask people to come find me. And I am not running away from my problems. When I am less upset and less sharp, I go and talk to Dr. Samson, or Mr. Haller, about why I was upset.

But you would not know this, because we are not friends, Jennie. Friends talk to each other.

And when have you ever tried to be my friend Yvette? We live together even. Don't point fingers or cast stones if you're guilty of the same damn thing. Hell, when was the last time you even talked to me? I'm not a monster, I'm not going to bite your head off. You're fifteen, quit acting like you're five.

And yes, you remind me of bad shit that went down, and when you treat me like some horrible monster that's going to eat you, it makes me feel worse.

So maybe you should come out of the woods and bother talking to people. You might be surprised at what you find.
