Feedback Post, Round Three, Part Two

It has been a hell of a long time since we've done one of these, we've got about nine thousand more people in the game, and it's been a rough month. Time for some love.

Here's how it works - below this post, there will be a comment each player in XProject, with notes on who they play, links to their wiki entry, links to the journals for their characters, and some helpful identifying icons. Because I think it looks cool.

Also, like the last few times, Rossi is a wiki editing madwoman and has added the links to everyone's pages.

JP and Nate are so fun to read. They just play off each other perfectly they're a joy and a hoot. And I love how he tries to deny that he may actually be good at being a teacher and relating to students.

First, I cannot tell you how happy I am that you killed off the cat. I think OUR cat thanks you by proxy just because it was such an insult to cat-dom.

JP finding his place (again) and his rebuilding of his friendship with Shiro and the budding friendship with JPC* his determination to NOT hit on these younger men who are really too young for him has been fun to read. The friendship with Nate is fabulous - the banter is great.

* JP-The-Older and JP-The-Younger are just too long to type anymore after this.

Jean-Paul! I have so much love for him, I can't even express it. The JP and Nate logs are always a riot and I love watching him fall into the big brother/mentor role with some many of the mansion's inhabitants. It's so fun to bounce my girl off JP and I am always, always amused by him and amazed by your characterization of him.

I love Jean-Paul and Nathan's banter back and forth. You can see the relationship really well and it works for both characters, playing one off the other. I love how he tries not to show his soft spot but then, he's always right in there, having people fall on his couch and having to tend to him. Awesome stuff and his turns of conversation are always a goodtime to write with.

Nice to work with you again, and even though it can be tough to get JP to open up (especially if you have a rather stand-offish PC of your own), it's fun once you manage to crack the surface. I really enjoyed the stuff we do with JP and Haller -- any log where both parties have their own personal agenda but happen to fall into step despite that is fun on my part.

You've captured Jean-Paul in all his conflicted glory - snarky yet compassionate; distant, yet caring. I'd love to see you log and plot more widely - the facets of a character always are reflected in their interactions with others, and there's so many variations out there!

I love your JP. He's trying to be a good teacher, and tries to do the right thing even when, like with Cammie, it came back to bite him.

And his interactions with Nate are just awesomely cool.

I don't think I have a bad thing to say about JPB. You do an amazing job keeping him both aloof and personable and he's probably one of the few people in the mansion Julian will be honest with if he has a problem.

The Jean-Paul/Nate 'bromance' never stops making me laugh, sometimes in venues when I should be quiet.

And oh, the JP-older/JP-younger dynamic. JPC is so confused and trying to figure out what the hell he's doing and where this...thing is going. Maybe he'll actually approach a relationship with maturity.

Oh, Jean-Paul. I adore him so much, even as he quietly breaks my heart over and over again.

(And he got special mention in my application, because i think he and Jake might be an oddly perfect storm of cake-fueled disaster.)
