Amanda: Learning to live my life on my own terms, without trying to fulfill any expectations that aren't mine. Yes there's the atoning and the guilt for last year, but no-one is pushing me to be anyone else but who I want to be, and that's good.

That and I'm actually enjoying having a job that doesn't involve table service. ;)

Free housing? Not having to deal with gossip because half the problem left and moved himself to New York City? Ask me this again in a few weeks because right now I'm not very content at all.

I'd answer the question for Marie-Ange's mental state as well, but it's complicated. The removal of the psionic scarring has her in a weird place right now. She's more emotional, less aloof, and very, very angry, and channeling most of it at Doug. I don't know that there's a 'best' thing about that.

I miss her. She was such a constant in my life that I can't believe she's not there. I just want her to be happy and if that's not with me, I'm fine with it. Still incredibly hurt by her just leaving but, but I am fine with it.

I'm fine. She's a big girl and take care of herself. I don't like the shit Drake puts her through but I'm not the love sick puppy Summers is. I don't really care, I'm just glad we're still friends. It's nice to have a semi sane person around here.

Having a "normal" life again. Got a job, college in the fall, friends...things I didn't think I'd ever have again when I left for Canada.
