"Ask the Characters!"

We haven't had an "Ask the Characters!" since the end of June. And so, because I want to (and because I think that Bleeding probably led to questions), a meme!

Open to player and audience participation. The rules are easy.

Post a question for any character in the game, and get it answered in and/or out of character!

No question is sacred and probably the character won't lie to you.

I really don't think it would. Besides, we've moved on from that - 's not that kind of relationship and stopped being that the minute he left to look for you.

Ah but you're different now. Isn't that what your little neon buddy indicates? You're all shiny and scrubbed up and new? A better, forgiven person?

But really, I mean that you understand him better.

I might understand him better, but I also know we'd be bloody horrible together. Remy needs an equal, someone he can't push around and someone who doesn't need him to fix anything/everything for them. He's been my friend, my confidante and the person I trust more than anyone else, except maybe Angelo. But there's been too much him saving my arse and me saving his for us to have any kind of relationship that wouldn't get just as co-dependant my relationship with Manuel.

And that's even if I thought I was up for another relationship. I might be all shiny and new, but it doesn't mean there's still some of the old baggage. And not wanting to fuck someone over by getting involved with them is still a factor, no matter how many pep talks Doug gives me (Sorry, mate - long-term damage takes a while. It is helping, at least?). It'd take someone I know can handle pretty much anything my life throws at them for me to even consider it, and Remy just has too much of his own damage without having to worry about me and mine.

Look, we can both agree that he deserves better, all right? Let's just leave it at that and for once actually finish on a bit of common ground.
