Dogs of War

That was enjoyable to read. Especially the logs preparing the final confrontation - all very different in mood and setting and tailored to the characters, and building anticipation with every log and piece of detective work falling in place. Just the sort of straightforward plot I love to see in a TV series or to play in an RPG campaign.

And then, what a sobering finish! O_o
Poor Josh. I mean, he sure learned an important lesson there, but still. And also, poor Amanda.

I was in such a rush to post those that I completely forgot a very important note. Erin wrote Josh and she was awesome. Thank you, Erin!!!

And thanks for enjoying it, too :)

Thank you, for the feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)

And while I'm here, I have some more thanks to make. Thanks and gold stars, in fact. *points at the icon*

To everyone who participated in the plot - Ben, IJ, Frito, Twiller and Emily - for pre-logging things when it became obvious that Dogs was going to run whilst I was in Australia for my brother's wedding, and for posting everything to schedule and without a hitch. To Erin, who, as Ben said, socked Josh for us and did a stellar job. To Dex, who socked our State Trooper in what is one of my favourite logs, and who also took on the plotrunner job by proxy. Thank you all so much for putting up with me and for making things run so well. Hugs and gold stars for everyone!
