Ask the Characters!
Jul. 15th, 2007 11:46 pmAzzy here, player of Julio and Jennie. Remember Ask the Characters? Well, I'm bringing it back. As hard as I can. Since we have some new players who haven't been around for the previous rounds.
The rules are simple and it's open to both the players and the readers at home.
Post a question for any character in the game, and get it answered in and/or out of character!
No question is sacred and probably the character won't lie to you.
For example!
Forge, if you could date any woman in the world, who would it be and why?
or
Lorna, why are you so mad Alex's dog knocked up yours?

Date: 2007-07-16 08:03 pm (UTC)Lorna: You are going to take Lili for her trip to the vet after she stops nursing the puppies, right?
Angel: What on earth did you do to those poor hamsters?!
Cain: Is there a reason the idea for the animal facility came about right before all of the pets started getting pregnant? Is there something you're not telling us?
Yvette: Are boys still "ew"?
All players of characters involved in a relationship with a character involved with the other team (as in a Snow Valley/X-Man relationship): How's that working for you?

Date: 2007-07-16 08:18 pm (UTC)"My girlfriend died! I'll get a turtle!"
"My wife went crazy! I'll get a cat!"
"The Professor only put one sugar in my tea! I want a pony!"
At the rate these people accumulate angst and woe, if they all reacted like Summers, we'd have to get a zoo permit.

Date: 2007-07-16 09:13 pm (UTC)Ange belongs with the X-Men, and I belong with the Trenchcoats - I wouldn't want to see him throw away the life he's made for himself by getting involved in some of what we do. And I'm not cut out to be a hero. It might crop up as a problem later, but for the moment, it works - neither of us pushes the other to be anything else but what they want to be.
Of course, neither of us has been fit for either team for a month and a half now... *wry*

Date: 2007-08-10 03:07 pm (UTC)Makes no nevermind to me. I go my own way, always have. I think.
Besides, somebody's gotta keep an eye on Gar and Marie, and Sarah here can take care of herself when things get hot.
I offer to help her out, I'm gonna get shived for my pains. She's got her thing, I got mine. Works out pretty well.

Date: 2007-07-16 09:49 pm (UTC)That's a joke, right?
Well, let's see. Because I've been way too lax about doing my job properly, I managed to convince my now girlfriend to put the school in danger, with the idea that they'd be better able to protect themselves when the Selene cultists went for their next victim, instead of another group of random mutants that we might not get lucky and stumble on in time. As a direct result, not only did three quarters of the school end up hostages, but one of my own team got carved up like a turkey, and if it hadn't been for Wisdom, probably won't have come out of it.
In fact, the only reason it could all happen in the first place is that I've completely screwed up two missions, trying to keep blood off my hands that have instead only encouraged people like Arcade and my ex-wife to go after everyone that my girlfriend loves with completely immunity. The fact that she didn't even want to talk to me afterwards because of what I'd talked her into makes me think that things are not exactly going well.
But that doesn't matter. I'm going to make sure that's the last time this ever has a chance of happening.

Date: 2007-07-16 11:03 pm (UTC)Pretty simply: I don't ask, and she doesn't tell me. There's also some advantages to going out with someone whose team-crisis doesn't usually overlap. Betsy's done a lot to help my sanity, even if it is due to the law of double-negatives.
