Azzy here, player of Julio and Jennie. Remember Ask the Characters? Well, I'm bringing it back. As hard as I can. Since we have some new players who haven't been around for the previous rounds.

The rules are simple and it's open to both the players and the readers at home.

Post a question for any character in the game, and get it answered in and/or out of character!

No question is sacred and probably the character won't lie to you.

For example!

Forge, if you could date any woman in the world, who would it be and why?

or

Lorna, why are you so mad Alex's dog knocked up yours?

Ooh, I know the answers to these.

Forge, if you could date any woman in the world, who would it be and why?

Marie Curie, alive and non-cancerous.

Lorna, why are you so mad Alex's dog knocked up yours?

Because she's jealous that Alex didn't knock up her.

Nope. It's totally because both of them are now on Bob Barker's shitlist for failing to get their pets fixed.

Forge, if you could date any woman in the world, who would it be and why?

See, that all depends on the definition of "date". Go out for an enjoyable evening with? I know plenty of attractive, personable women that I enjoy spending time with, and there are a great number of attractive women who are hypothetically personable (or at least attractive enough to make personality less of a factor for a single date) that I would not mind taking out. So many variables, you see.

Of course, if you mean "embark upon a serious relationship with"... you've got to be kidding me. They're all far too crazy. No one's that pretty to make up for all that crazy. Nuh-uh.

Hmm. Questions, questions... All for the new/returned folks.

John - Elpis, huh? What motivated you to try professional do-gooding? And how are you liking it? (no offense to the Elpis, folks, btw ;) )

Jono - After all that time as a ball of light, what's the hardest thing about picking up your life again? What's the best?

Tabitha - Are you wanting to join the team again, or has Murderworld scared you off?

Monet - How's the summer vacation going?

Paige - So, just how dead is Amanda when you found out about her and Angelo? *eg*

Farouk - You haven't fled for the hills yet why exactly?

For Paige:

Oh, she knows. I can't remember how she knows, because I suck, but I remember noting that She Knows (and there being a logical reason for it).

Paige is Avoidy Girl! however, and busy woe-ing over Forge, atm, and luckily, they don't live in the same house anymore! Whew. We like Amanda in once piece, yes we do.

(ahaha- who wants us to write Paige and Amanda coming out of their/Angelo's rooms at the same time? Mmawkward...)

Part of me really does want to get back on the team. And it's a very large part. But the scared part is still very sharp. It doesn't help that Murderworld reinforced my current insecurities about being a team member again.

Professional do-gooding?

Dude, what the fuck?

Motivation

There's the desperate need for a plasma tv in my room, food in the fridge, money... fairly recently, I was thinking of getting a PS3, maybe a DS... have I mentioned money just yet?

Also -of much less importance but entirely relevant- I have unconditional love for paperwork, research, politicians, bureaucrats and mutants in third world countries. Let's -- heal the world and make it a better place.

As for how am I liking it so far... I don't know. How do you like your job?

Alex: Now that Crush has left his mark on the world, have you taken him for that nice little trip to the vet yet?

Lorna: You are going to take Lili for her trip to the vet after she stops nursing the puppies, right?

Angel: What on earth did you do to those poor hamsters?!

Cain: Is there a reason the idea for the animal facility came about right before all of the pets started getting pregnant? Is there something you're not telling us?

Yvette: Are boys still "ew"?

All players of characters involved in a relationship with a character involved with the other team (as in a Snow Valley/X-Man relationship): How's that working for you?

To be honest, the idea came about almost an entire YEAR ago, when Scott started adopting pets to make up for his poor pathetic life.

"My girlfriend died! I'll get a turtle!"

"My wife went crazy! I'll get a cat!"

"The Professor only put one sugar in my tea! I want a pony!"

At the rate these people accumulate angst and woe, if they all reacted like Summers, we'd have to get a zoo permit.

They are perhaps not so much 'ew' as they were before, but they are still 'ew', especially when there is kissing. Kissing is ew.

Ange belongs with the X-Men, and I belong with the Trenchcoats - I wouldn't want to see him throw away the life he's made for himself by getting involved in some of what we do. And I'm not cut out to be a hero. It might crop up as a problem later, but for the moment, it works - neither of us pushes the other to be anything else but what they want to be.

Of course, neither of us has been fit for either team for a month and a half now... *wry*

What team they're on doesn't concern me. I'm not with Logan because he's an X-man, I'm with him because he's probably the closest person to actually "getting" me. If he doesn't mind hanging out with the Heroes, that's his thing, not mine.

That's a joke, right?

Well, let's see. Because I've been way too lax about doing my job properly, I managed to convince my now girlfriend to put the school in danger, with the idea that they'd be better able to protect themselves when the Selene cultists went for their next victim, instead of another group of random mutants that we might not get lucky and stumble on in time. As a direct result, not only did three quarters of the school end up hostages, but one of my own team got carved up like a turkey, and if it hadn't been for Wisdom, probably won't have come out of it.

In fact, the only reason it could all happen in the first place is that I've completely screwed up two missions, trying to keep blood off my hands that have instead only encouraged people like Arcade and my ex-wife to go after everyone that my girlfriend loves with completely immunity. The fact that she didn't even want to talk to me afterwards because of what I'd talked her into makes me think that things are not exactly going well.

But that doesn't matter. I'm going to make sure that's the last time this ever has a chance of happening.

Pretty simply: I don't ask, and she doesn't tell me. There's also some advantages to going out with someone whose team-crisis doesn't usually overlap. Betsy's done a lot to help my sanity, even if it is due to the law of double-negatives.

Remy: No way in hell he'd ever damn someone to his life and past.

As for comic plots, not really. There's ones that I haven't done yet, but nothing that I haven't been able to twist into a configuration that I enjoyed and wasn't able to make plausible. I suppose the closest would be E PLURIBUS UNUM, which was a mirror of the Creed presidental run, which unfortunately was killed by delays at the mod level, and then Greydon Creed ended up being used before I could ever re-approach it.

Cain says "Not just no but hell no." As much as he has his problems, he has much less baggage than everyone else he knows, counting some of the kids who've accumulated enough baggage to rival the lost-and-found at O'Hare.

Forge occasionally is jealous of other people's powers or their circumstances, but rarely their lives. He's much more the covetous type than the envious type.

I like to think there's no comics plot I couldn't adapt into a movieverse-style plot for XP.

There are many things I am not brave enough to say to someone, but I think the big thing is to tell a grown up when they are not being a nice person. The other is to tell John or Mr. Jono that I am glad they helped me and that I think they are very nice boys people.
