It's been a year since we did the last one of these, and we believe many of us could use the pick-me-up.

As last year, below this post, there will be a comment for each player in XProject, with notes on who they play, links to their wiki entry, links to the journals for their characters, and some helpful identifying icons. Because we think it looks cool. As last year, there will actually be two posts so that the people at the end of the alphabet don't get left out.

Differently from last year, once we have all this nonsense up, we'll do one big meta-edit to put a link to each person's comment.

As usual, you can find last year and other previous threads like this listed off your Player Page on the wiki, and those will get linked in the comments.

And last, speaking in the third person because as you can see, the first post was done by Frito (also we occasionally like to refer to ourselves in the third person because we're weird).

(side note: I think I checked all the links, but if something is broken, let me know? I'm going to be seeing "a href" in my sleep tonight, I think...)

ILU~<33333

Both the sweetest and the bitterest girls on the mansion, and both are unlucky enough to get my girls sticking around. Thanks for putting up with me, and let the good stuff keep coming. The amazing thing is that beyond the characters I consider you the perfect mix of them, somehow; no matter what you go through you are always kind and attentive, and that's something I value a lot.

I did say ILU~<3333 right?

I met Jo in a different game that kind of wound up tanking, but I'm so, so glad to've managed to pounce her once more in XP. She's fun to log with and manages to be online when I am (oh, insomnia) a lot of the time. We haven't done a lot of logging, but she's always there with interesting internet trivia and I enjoy throwing our very cranky characters at one another - Cammie is hilarious, after all, what with yelling about kids getting off her lawn and things. *huggles*

In such a short time you've really established yourself in XP and established your girls in the mansion.

Dori is a delight - she's fun and spazzy and just as squirrel-like in her attention span as you'd expect, but there's also real depth there as well, reflected in things like her refusal to acknowledge the bad. It's something that's going to really bite her on the butt one day and I have to admit I look forward to the writing and development that will come from it.

Cammie is another basket of grr altogether. I love her sense of humour - Amanda really wanted to dislike her, but couldn't quite manage it - and the struggle she goes through to find herself a place in the scheme of things is really quite well done.

Is awesome. I know I was all like "I DON'T DO FEEDBACKS RAAAR" but I was left some really good stuff so let's pay it forward.

THANK YOU FOR PUTTING UP WITH ME. PERIOD.

Kate - oh wonderful, patient Kate. I've just realized I never tagged her back on a log between JPB and Kurt. I fail so very, very badly. I'll go do that, once I'm finished with this comment about how totally awesome she is. Because when RL ate me, she didn't seem too horribly annoyed by it and that is always appreciated.

Angelo is hilarious, particularly his interaction with John, and I am really enjoying reading Kurt as he's posted. His interaction with Cammie was great in that laundry log, for example. <3 Also, Angelo's take on the John/JPB thing needs to be put on screen at some point, mostly because I think it would be totally hilarious.

Yana doesn't show up much but when she does she's one of my favorite characters to read. Few people can sustain the sort of character who is not beloved by all other characters, but Lauren does and she does so well. Whatever crack Yana's on? I want some, because Illyana is always damned pleased with herself. And she never fails to make me nearly fall out of my chair with laughter.

We haven't seen a lot of Klara, which is our loss, since she's got so much potential. You didn't have the easiest entrance into the game, but you persevered and when you do toss Klara into the mix, she's a quiet, calm voice of rationality. More please - I'm looking forward to seeing her in India, especially!

Mon is my wifey, and she really does deserve the title (conjugal visits aside). Adrienne and Vanessa have really grown up together in the game, going from rather distant, detached people to who they are now. The complications of their dynamic only grow and weave themselves into tighter and tighter knots. And I love every minute of it.

Catseye has really come into her own in the past six months or so. Taking the character on as an adoption was always sort of a miracle or act of insanity, I think, but while Mon had a decent grasp on the kid from the beginning she's definitely branded the catgirl as her own lately. Catseye somehow manages to be the one person everyone will tell their secrets to, and the only person Kevin trusts in his bed.

I really love what Mon's doing with her girls and I look forward to what they will grow into in the future. (Also I just love Mon to a ridiculous degree anyway.)

You don't see Callisto around much, but that doesn't stop my complete love for the character and the very strange dynamic she has with Morgan. I think if Callisto wasn't so into the run and hide reaction Morgan likely would've pinned the chick to the wall by now. Alas, all that innuendo that will never happen. But I like the way Morgan for some reason tries to solidify herself in a friend slot with Callisto and how Callisto just doesn't seem to understand why, or bother trying to stop her either.

I hope to see more of Cal in the future despite the burdens of the timezone hell.

Nat! One of the only people who has a character that's actually managed to get the reaction from JPB that I expected. His log with Warren was amusing for me for that, since everyone else managed to throw me off balance. We should see about tossing them together another time, just to see how things go. Everyone needs a bit of surly in their life, right? *muah*

It's entirely possible that I saw Nathan, pounced, branded him as my own and then chained him to the foot of my bed. Figuratively speaking, anyway. He's one of those guys who somehow instantly endears himself to you and I'm thinking that's where Lex gets it from as well. Obviously I'm a little biased because Morgan is hopelessly smitten with Lex so it's hard not to like him. He's got that terminal good guy thing going on, but you know there's something sort of tarnished underneath it all. But then that's what life does to people, right?

I think Lex is going to get more interesting with time as Nathan peels back his layers and I can't wait to see what he does with it all.

Cozza! The early interaction between Laurie and Kevin had me laughing at times, especially the scene with Laurie being hung by Cain. So much fun.

And Morgan, she gave Laurie the benefit of the doubt and a big sister when she desperately needed that. And she is still there for her even now. She wants to see her succeed and grow, and worries about her a lot. Yes, she's such a mother hen, it's not funny.

I love watching what you come up with in your writing, and I totally hope you find a job soon that doesn't drive you crazy because you deserve to be working somewhere you love. You're awesome, mate. :)

How many times I have told you how awesome you are? Because somehow I think it's not enough. After all, you were the one that stood all my crazy ideas and suggestions and newbiness and somehow managed to teach me one or two things about making a good character, without getting to the extremes, and nothing pleases me more than knowing I'm giving you a chance to find new faces for an "old" character -sorry 'Manda, don't kill me!-, but let's face it, if you weren't there Nico would be the worst emo-goth-witch known to man; she's after all her role model, and you are mine, in a way.

And Yvette is a lovely ball of sharpness and cuteness, and I just want an invulnerable character to hug her to death, really, because she is the most mature of the "kids" around, and also the kindest. The way you can contrast both characters without leaving any of them out is amazing, and I'm very thankful for being around when you do your awesome.

And of course, you need someone to tell you to stop working from time to time, even if I'm miles away~

So take a brake whenever you can and cheers!

Why does Morgan like both of your girls so much? Seriously, why?

It's been a lot of fun watching Laurie grow up lately. She's still the same kid but she's getting there slowly, turning into this thing some people might eventually call an adult. *gasp* Seraph didn't rush into the transition and she's still not. Laurie is fallible. She shoves her foot in her mouth, gets her heel caught in the grating on the sidewalk and goes tumbling down the stairs. Sometimes she learns from it and half the time she is stubborn as hell about it.

I have no words for Jubilee beyond her general awesomeness.

Seraph's one of those people I just totally adore on an OOC level and it carries on through everything else, I guess.

Man, I love Tap. I have buckets full of deep and adoring love for her. Marius brightens my day every time he turns up and Haller remains the sole authority/adult figure that Kevin really trusts with the inner workings of his head aside from Leo (who doesn't count because he's a psychiatrist). I really wish life would beat Tap over the head a bit less so we could see her guys more, but when they show up it's always worth the wait. (Women's volleyball anyone?)

My love for Doug may entirely have to do with him taking one look at Morgan in another body and knowing it was her. His eternal geekry is fun and his inane banter he likes to get into with (enter name here).

But, really, my love for Twiller has a lot more to do with pictures of fuzzy things, venting sessions and dinners in San Francisco with Frito than it does with his characters. I can't deny that. I adore Doug and I dig JPC, but I'm really on team Twiller here.
