Annual Feedback Thread, Part Two
Mar. 16th, 2010 07:51 pmIt's been a year since we did the last one of these, and we believe many of us could use the pick-me-up.
As last year, below this post, there will be a comment for each player in XProject, with notes on who they play, links to their wiki entry, links to the journals for their characters, and some helpful identifying icons. Because we think it looks cool. As last year, there will actually be two posts so that the people at the end of the alphabet don't get left out.
Differently from last year, once we have all this nonsense up, we'll do one big meta-edit to put a link to each person's comment.
As usual, you can find last year and other previous threads like this listed off your Player Page on the wiki, and those will get linked in the comments.
And last, speaking in the third person because as you can see, the first post was done by Frito (also we occasionally like to refer to ourselves in the third person because we're weird).
(side note: I think I checked all the links, but if something is broken, let me know? I'm going to be seeing "a href" in my sleep tonight, I think...)

Date: 2010-03-19 09:06 pm (UTC)Both the sweetest and the bitterest girls on the mansion, and both are unlucky enough to get my girls sticking around. Thanks for putting up with me, and let the good stuff keep coming. The amazing thing is that beyond the characters I consider you the perfect mix of them, somehow; no matter what you go through you are always kind and attentive, and that's something I value a lot.
I did say ILU~<3333 right?

Date: 2010-03-20 06:06 pm (UTC)Dori is a delight - she's fun and spazzy and just as squirrel-like in her attention span as you'd expect, but there's also real depth there as well, reflected in things like her refusal to acknowledge the bad. It's something that's going to really bite her on the butt one day and I have to admit I look forward to the writing and development that will come from it.
Cammie is another basket of grr altogether. I love her sense of humour - Amanda really wanted to dislike her, but couldn't quite manage it - and the struggle she goes through to find herself a place in the scheme of things is really quite well done.

Date: 2010-03-20 04:22 pm (UTC)Angelo is hilarious, particularly his interaction with John, and I am really enjoying reading Kurt as he's posted. His interaction with Cammie was great in that laundry log, for example. <3 Also, Angelo's take on the John/JPB thing needs to be put on screen at some point, mostly because I think it would be totally hilarious.

Date: 2010-03-20 12:47 am (UTC)Catseye has really come into her own in the past six months or so. Taking the character on as an adoption was always sort of a miracle or act of insanity, I think, but while Mon had a decent grasp on the kid from the beginning she's definitely branded the catgirl as her own lately. Catseye somehow manages to be the one person everyone will tell their secrets to, and the only person Kevin trusts in his bed.
I really love what Mon's doing with her girls and I look forward to what they will grow into in the future. (Also I just love Mon to a ridiculous degree anyway.)

I love watching what you come up with in your writing, and I totally hope you find a job soon that doesn't drive you crazy because you deserve to be working somewhere you love. You're awesome, mate. :)

Date: 2010-03-19 09:03 pm (UTC)And Yvette is a lovely ball of sharpness and cuteness, and I just want an invulnerable character to hug her to death, really, because she is the most mature of the "kids" around, and also the kindest. The way you can contrast both characters without leaving any of them out is amazing, and I'm very thankful for being around when you do your awesome.
And of course, you need someone to tell you to stop working from time to time, even if I'm miles away~
So take a brake whenever you can and cheers!

Date: 2010-03-20 01:03 am (UTC)It's been a lot of fun watching Laurie grow up lately. She's still the same kid but she's getting there slowly, turning into this thing some people might eventually call an adult. *gasp* Seraph didn't rush into the transition and she's still not. Laurie is fallible. She shoves her foot in her mouth, gets her heel caught in the grating on the sidewalk and goes tumbling down the stairs. Sometimes she learns from it and half the time she is stubborn as hell about it.
I have no words for Jubilee beyond her general awesomeness.
Seraph's one of those people I just totally adore on an OOC level and it carries on through everything else, I guess.
